BIG Construction was involved from the preliminary stages of the project as a trusted partner guiding Priority through the complete expansion and renovation of their flagship offices. 

Located in the historic Reid Murdoch building, existing conditions posed a challenge. Working alongside the architect, Partners by Design, the MEP team, and building management, BIG conducted a full inspection of the floor and ceiling conditions to determine structural implications and align with the client and design team's vision. BIG conducted over a dozen mock-ups of different flooring types to identify the most cost-effective and time-efficient option. For the ceiling, BIG was able to reconfigure and alter the existing medium pressure loop to incorporate lighting features and create an open ceiling concept. 

The final finish selections feel more like sitting courtside than at your desk. Drawing inspiration from the company's athletic roots, custom-built elements provide an opportunity to showcase the brand. The selected metallic epoxy flooring option provides visual interest with design details that give a nod to a basketball court. A customizable peg wall, installed and engineered by BIG, provides a canvas to showcase sports memorabilia. A customizable “ticker board” envelops the front lobby, a showstopping showcase piece that ensures they never miss a game.
