Flexera

Located just outside of Chicago, Flexera renovated their 44,000 SF headquarters to consolidate their entire operation down to one floor to accommodate their flexible work-from-home policy.

Offices and hotel spaces carve out the neighborhoods for each department with collaboration and adaptable spaces cushioning the open offices within. A central training room ties the full floor together, opening up into a large café that doubles as a town hall space for large gatherings. The café is highlighted by a swooping ceiling weaving its way across the space and accented by undulating acoustical baffles. Just above these ceiling spaces lies a busy deck that BIG coordinated and laid out to install and route the MEP requirements seamlessly with the security and audio visual additions that span the space.
