When Wilson Elser, a national law firm, decided to relocatefrom 55 W Monroe to 161 N Clark’s 45th floor, they needed a fast, flawless transition. BIG Construction was brought on to deliver a 20,000 SF officebuild-out in just 16 weeks, including two weeks of demolition. The design calledfor 50 private perimeter offices, three conference rooms, a reception area,huddle rooms, and a café, all anchored by high-end “front of house” finishes toimpress clients and recruits. Working closely with the owner’s rep, BIGnavigated sloped floors, low ceilings, and tight procurement timelines,leveraging deep experience in the building. Delivered on time and under budget,the result was a polished, functional space that met lease deadlines andreinforced a strong, ongoing client relationship.
